Who we are
Novara Facility Services provides cleaning and handyman services in Zuid-Holland. We are responsible for the personal information we use to handle enquiries and provide our services. Our current business and contact details appear above. Contact us by email or phone with privacy questions.
Information we receive
When you contact us, we receive the details you provide: your name, email address, optional telephone number, postcode, selected service, contact preference and message. If we arrange work, we may also need the service address, access arrangements and information needed for invoicing. Please do not send identity documents, health information, payment-card details or alarm/access codes through the website form.
Why we use your information
We use enquiry details to respond, discuss the work and prepare a quote or appointment at your request. This processing is necessary to take steps before entering a contract and, if agreed, to perform that contract. We keep legally required administration to meet our legal obligations. We have a legitimate interest in protecting the website, preventing misuse and dealing with complaints; we limit that processing to what is necessary and consider your privacy interests. We do not use an enquiry as permission for unrelated marketing.
Forms and security
An enquiry is stored in the website’s private administration before an email notification is attempted. Access is limited to authorised administrators. The form uses validation, a security token and short-lived abuse protection. A keyed hash derived from the connection IP address is used for the form’s 15-minute rate-limit window; the enquiry record does not store a raw IP address. Hosting providers may separately keep technical connection and security logs. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including restricted access and encrypted connections where supported.
Hosting, email and other providers
Our website is hosted using Hostinger. Enquiry notifications and replies are handled using our configured email provider; our current published contact mailbox is provided by Google (Gmail). Providers may process information where their infrastructure and support operate. Where information is transferred outside the European Economic Area, applicable data-protection transfer requirements must be met. We share information with service providers only as needed to operate the website, communicate or carry out agreed work, and with authorities where legally required. We do not sell personal information.
How long information is kept
We retain enquiry information while the enquiry is being handled and while reasonably needed for follow-up, agreed work or a related complaint. When deciding whether further retention is necessary, we consider whether work is still being discussed, the contractual relationship and applicable legal obligations or claims. We remove or anonymise information when those purposes no longer apply. Accounting records are kept for the applicable statutory period. Copies in email, service-provider logs and backups follow their separate operational and legal retention requirements. You can contact us to ask about the retention of your enquiry or to request deletion.
Cookies and external services
The custom website does not include advertising trackers or automatically load Google review widgets. WordPress may use necessary cookies for login, security and administration; the language system may remember your language preference. Self-hosted fonts and icons do not require a font provider connection. Clicking a WhatsApp link opens WhatsApp, which processes information under its own privacy terms; no WhatsApp chat widget is loaded automatically. Google review links similarly open an external Google service. Any future analytics or other optional tracking must be assessed and, where required, obtain consent before loading.
Reviews and project photographs
We publish real customer reviews and before/after photographs only after checking that publication is appropriate and authorised. Project photographs should not reveal private addresses, people or identifying details without permission. If you have a concern about a published review or image, contact us with a link so we can investigate.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or transfer of your personal information, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity; please do not send an unsolicited identity-document copy. We normally respond within one month and explain any lawful extension. You may complain to the Dutch supervisory authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens. We do not make decisions about you solely through automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
Updates
We update this notice when the website or our processing changes. The date above identifies this version. You can contact us for questions about a specific enquiry or provider arrangement.
